Schools Outreach Q&A Panel Discussion

Schools Outreach Q&A Panel Discussion

42BR Barristers is pleased to offer schools the opportunity to take part in an interactive panel session with practising barristers, delivered remotely and designed for students aged 15 and above.

The session is an informal Q&A-style discussion where students hear directly from barristers about what the job really involves. The panel will cover:

  • How to become a barrister, including the qualifications required, the realities of the role, and the pros and cons of a career at the Bar
  • Alternative routes to the Bar, and the different pathways students can take
  • Personal stories and experiences from barristers at different stages of their careers, including the challenges they faced and how they overcame them
  •  An open opportunity for students to ask questions about working life, career choices, and access to the profession

The panel will include a mix of junior and senior barristers from different areas of law, ensuring students gain a broad and realistic insight into the profession. The focus throughout is on accessibility, diversity, and helping students understand whether a career at the Bar might be right for them.

If you would like to arrange a session or discuss how this could fit into your school’s careers programme, please do get in touch.
